GREAT JOB AS ALWAYS! Babbler just got better! I dunno how I was still using 2.1, but finally someone gifted me back the latest edition of Babbler. And it seems that this new one now finally checks for updates on it's own! so yay!
My suggestion is kind of odd to implement.. so bear with me while I try to explain.
A scripted object can detect the 16 closest avatars. it will not count "you" if you ware wearing the scripted object. Your debabbler only displays options for 12 names.
Here's my suggestion.
| name 1 | name 2 | name 3
| name 4 | name 5 | name 6
| name 7 | name 8 | name 9
| remove | add all | more >>
pressing the "more" button would display a second list of names
| name 10 | name 11 | name 12
| name 13 | name 14 | name 15
| name 16 | -- | --
| remove | add all | more >>
The "add all" button would add all names currently displayed on the list page.. so on page 1, it would add 9 people. on page 2 it would add 7 (dues to the 2 blank buttons)
the "remove" button would bring up the list of 30 names currently being translated. This would allow people to "keep the memory useage lower" or to "stop translating" someone they've muted.
| name 1 | name 2 | name 3
| name 4 | name 5 | name 6
| name 7 | name 8 | name 9
| add new | clear | more >>
Pressing "clear" would clear all 9 displayed names. Pressing "add new" would switch you back to the adding menus (shown above)
Anyways, that's my suggestion! Hope it helps.. if you use it, great, if it just inspires you, great, if you toss the idea, then I'll be sad, but I'll live.
Thanks for this great tool!
